I was baptized on April 9, 2017. Since then I have been reading my Bible drawing closer to God. Now my family has been restored as far as the east is from the west. I can be trusted working at a cash register. Best of all I have Jesus as my Lord and savior.

Transformation plays such a role in who I am today. While there I was able to get to know who I am in Christ, and learned to love who I was becoming. I spent time with the directors, and manager, and soaked up knowledge from God's word that I still use today being employed at a substance abuse facility, and dealing with clients that are broken like I was when I came to Chad, Debbie, and Aimee. While there I received Godly instruction, and knowledge on how to love women right where they are and developed relationships that I still have today. Transformation was the best decision I ever made, and God truly had a plan sending me there!

After a life of sobriety, then relapse, chaos and confusion. At 47 I was led to Transformations. My life was destroyed, my family was separated, and they were angry. Through guidance, teaching, acceptance and lots of patience my life began to transform into something I never could have imagined. It changed so much I wanted to stay and help others. I enrolled in college and received an associated in Christian counseling then a bachelor's in substance abuse and addiction. My marriage was restored, I see my children and grandchildren often, and they desire to be around me. Also, I have found the best friends I've had.

My name is Sydney Newton and before I came to Transformations I was lost, broken, and alone. For about ten years I was in a deep depression which led to many forms of addiction; anything that made me feel different. Methamphetamine stole my identity because it made me feel numb, it consumed me. I had no idea who I was, who God was, or how he felt about me. Transformations has changed my whole perspective of life. I have learned how important I am to my creator.

Before arriving at Transformations, I was strongly addicted to drugs. I was lost broken and completely hopeless. I lost my three children to CPS in 2016. I arrived at Transformations shackled and handcuffed angry and bitter. Transformations allowed me to work on myself and my relationship with the Lord, I surrendered my life to Christ, and he slowly began to change me from the inside out. I was blessed in ways that I never would've imagined. I was awarded full custody of all three children. I am now married to a wonderful God-fearing man that loves me and my children like they are his own. Most importantly I know who Jesus is and the love he has for each and everyone of us.

Before arriving at Transformations I was addicted, hopeless, and suicidal. I started abusing pills after my husband had an affair and I felt completely abandoned. I stayed with him and numbed through the pain. I finally left and my addiction worsened. After several failed attempts to get sober I lost my mind and walked away from my family home to become a missing person for 3 days. In those days all I wanted was death. When I was found God sent me to Transformations where I was shown love and a different way of life. I grew a relationship with Jesus and He turned my life around. Today I work at Transformations helping ladies find Christ, I’m engaged to a wonderful man who loves the Lord, and I am now the mom my daughter deserves.

Before I came to Transformations I was lost and broken. I've spent the last 20 years of my life addicted to methamphetamine. My addiction has led me to lie, cheat, steal, have abortions and to walk away from my children. I've spent many years in and out of prisons and recovery centers. Since I came to Transformations they have taught me about Jesus and led me into a relationship with him. I now have a firm foundation to rebuild my life on. I have hope for the first time in my life. I have restored my family as a whole. I have one of my children living with me and see my other two children weekly. I have a job, a house and a car. I'm breaking generational curses! I'm a new creation in Christ!

Hi my name is Lori I've been in and out of addiction for 40 years. I used crack, methamphetamine, pain pills, heroin, cocaine, and Xanax. In September 2021 I overdosed on Xanax and was in ICU for four days. I had been in such a dark place for so long feeling hopeless and useless. When I got out the hospital I came to a place called Transformations. I've never met people who love you when you don't even love yourself or who put up with you when you can't put up with yourself. This place has truly turned my life around and shown me how to build a relationship with Jesus, not just be sober. I've been here two years and now work for Transformations and get to watch these girls every single day and the miracles God is doing in their lives. We truly are family here.

Before coming to Transformations I knew of God, but I did not truly know Him... and because I did not truly know God, I had no idea who I was. I spent the majority of my adult life blinded by sin, running through darkness away from God. All the while convincing myself that my way of life - my sin was my identity: I was a drug addict - I was liar I was a thief- I was a homosexual. I sought validation through this lifestyle and through toxic relationships. I finally came to the end of myself in March of 2022-crying out to God wanting something better than the physical and spiritual jail cell I had run into. He led me and swung the door ipen to Transformations. My family at Transformations has pointed me to Jesus and who He is, how to develop and intimate relationship with Him, and who I am in Him. I found my true identity in Jesus Christ, as a daughter of the one true King!

Before coming to Transformations I had struggled with addiction on and off for about 20 years. In 2021 I found my self yet again addicted to suboxine and Xanax. Hopeless, and desperate for a change I left my entire life and family in Alaska and headed to West Monroe in hopes of being able to just get clean for a couple months. I had NO intentions of staying! But Jesus had other plans. Little did I know I would end up living here permanently, working at Transformations and getting to give back what was freely given to me. I now have an over 2 1/2 years clean and have never felt so much love and acceptance as I do here. I've truly discovered what it means to be a new creation and have freedom through Christ.
